How to get ZARZOOM content onto your own website

Stream your ZARZOOM posts to your website using the hosted microsite, embed widget, or the WordPress and Joomla plugins.

Step 1 — Choose your distribution method

ZARZOOM offers three ways to display your scheduled and published posts on your own web presence. Decide which suits your setup before you begin:

  • Hosted microsite — a ready-made page at zarzoom.com that requires no website of your own.
  • Embed widget — a snippet of code you paste into any HTML page.
  • CMS plugins — dedicated plugins for WordPress and Joomla that stream posts directly into your site.

Step 2 — Set up your free hosted microsite

  1. Sign in at zarzoom.com/login-launch.
  2. Go to Settings → Web Presence → Microsite.
  3. Choose a microsite handle. Your page will be accessible at the address shown on screen once saved.
  4. Select which connected social channels should feed into the microsite.
  5. Click Save Microsite Settings. Your microsite is immediately live and updates automatically whenever ZARZOOM publishes a post.

Step 3 — Generate and install the embed widget

Use this option if you have an existing website and want to drop a live post feed into any page.

  1. In ZARZOOM, go to Settings → Web Presence → Embed Widget.
  2. Choose the channels and post types you want the widget to display.
  3. Select a layout (grid, list, or carousel) and set a colour theme to match your site.
  4. Click Generate Code. ZARZOOM produces a short JavaScript snippet.
  5. Copy the snippet.
  6. Open your website's HTML editor and paste the snippet into the page where you want the feed to appear.
  7. Save and publish the page. The widget will begin showing your posts within a few minutes.

Step 4 — Install the WordPress plugin

  1. In ZARZOOM, go to Settings → Web Presence → CMS Plugins and click Download WordPress Plugin. A .zip file downloads to your computer.
  2. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  3. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  4. Select the .zip file you downloaded and click Install Now, then Activate.
  5. In the WordPress sidebar, go to ZARZOOM Feed → Settings.
  6. Enter your ZARZOOM API key. You can find this key in ZARZOOM under Settings → Account → API Access.
  7. Choose which channels and post types to display, then click Save.
  8. Add the ZARZOOM Feed block or shortcode to any page or post where you want the feed to appear.

Step 5 — Install the Joomla plugin

  1. In ZARZOOM, go to Settings → Web Presence → CMS Plugins and click Download Joomla Plugin. A .zip file downloads to your computer.
  2. Log in to your Joomla administrator panel.
  3. Go to Extensions → Manage → Install and select Upload Package File.
  4. Upload the .zip file and click Upload & Install.
  5. Go to Extensions → Plugins, find ZARZOOM Feed, and click to open it.
  6. Enter your ZARZOOM API key (found in ZARZOOM under Settings → Account → API Access) and configure which channels to display.
  7. Set the plugin status to Enabled and click Save & Close.
  8. Add the ZARZOOM Feed module to the desired position in your Joomla template via Extensions → Modules.

Good to know

  • API key security — your ZARZOOM API key grants access to your account data. Do not share it publicly or commit it to version-controlled code repositories.
  • Post visibility — only posts that have been published through ZARZOOM appear in the widget, plugins, and microsite; drafts and scheduled posts are not shown until they go live.
  • Plugin updates — when ZARZOOM releases an updated plugin version, return to Settings → Web Presence → CMS Plugins to download the latest file and reinstall it through your CMS.
